Dan Kroll is chief scientist at Hach Company specifically assigned to study water supply vulnerabilities and methods for mitigating and preventing attacks on our nation’s water systems. During his 17 years at Hach, Dan has developed methods for detecting accidental and environmental pollutants in water and wastewater throughout the world. His inexpensive field test for 5 million wells in Bangladesh detects naturally occurring arsenic contamination and has saved thousands of lives. He also owns numerous patents on detection and removal systems for water supplies.
