Description
Modern reservoir engineering must accommodate for a complex set of heterogeneous phases contained in the well and petroleum reservoir. Achieving the optimal solution to reservoir problems involves employing sophisticated simulation techniques, executing complex well-completion actions, and following up with constant attention to the changes within a reservoir.
Renowned petroleum engineer George Stewart offers in-depth information in his latest book, Wireline Formation Evaluation and Well Deliverability. A companion to his recent book, Well Test Design and Analysis, this technical volume covers the widest range of possible issues for reservoir engineering. Stewart's exhaustive explanations include the nuances of radial flow theory, and examples of when to run production logs and when to well test for drawdown in a commingled reservoir. The volume includes a CD containing Chapters 14 - 17.

About the Author
Dr. George Stewart is the technical director of Weatherford's e-production solutions division and Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, having served with the latter since its start-up in 1975 as senior lecturer, professor and head of department. He has over 27 years of experience in well test analysis, reservoir engineering, PVT and phase behavior, and gas condensate engineering. He has carried out many consultancy projects worldwide in these topics.
Dr. Stewart has also been a key part of EPS software development since 1983, in both well testing and production software. He has given numerous industry schools and seminars on well test analysis and reservoir engineering throughout the world and has authored many papers on the subject.
Dr. Stewart has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Edinburgh University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University.
