This Digital Download License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of all digital publications, including ebooks and downloadable PDF files (collectively, “Digital Books”) provided by PennWell Books, LLC (“PennWell Books,” “we,” or “our”).
By purchasing or downloading a Digital Book, you (“User” or “Purchaser”) agree to the terms of this Agreement.
License Grant
Upon purchase, PennWell Books grants the Purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the Digital Book for personal, professional, or educational use.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Digital Book or its intellectual property.
Permitted Uses
The Purchaser may:

Download the Digital Book to a personal device

Store the Digital Book on a personal computer, tablet, or reader

Access the Digital Book for personal, professional, or educational reference
Prohibited Uses
The Purchaser may not:

Share the Digital Book with other individuals

Upload the Digital Book to websites, repositories, or file-sharing services

Distribute the file via email or digital storage platforms

Sell, sublicense, or redistribute the Digital Book

Remove copyright notices or author attribution

Reproduce the Digital Book in whole or in part for distribution
Unauthorized distribution or reproduction may constitute copyright infringement under U.S. and international copyright law.
Digital Security
PennWell Books reserves the right to use digital security measures to protect its publications.
Any attempt to circumvent digital protection measures may result in termination of this license.
License Termination
PennWell Books reserves the right to terminate this license if the Purchaser violates the terms of this Agreement.
Upon termination, the Purchaser must delete all copies of the Digital Book in their possession.
