Refund policy

This Refund and Returns Policy applies customers (excluding resellers and bookstores) and purchases made from PennWellBooks.com.
Physical Books
Physical books may be returned within 15 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price.
To qualify for a return:
- The book must be unused
- The book must be in original condition
- The return must be authorized by PennWell Books
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If a book arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
PennWell Books may provide:
- a replacement copy, or
- a full refund
depending on the circumstances.
Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital downloads, eBooks, and PDF downloads are generally non-refundable once the file has been delivered or accessed. Additionally this applies to DVD and software products.
If you experience technical difficulties accessing a purchased digital product, please contact us and we will assist you.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment. Once an order has shipped, it must follow the standard return process.
